BIO-LIFTING WITH FACE RADIO FREQUENCY

One of the most effective techniques to restore tone and elasticity to the muscles of the face as well as of the body is radiofrequency. This method, which can also be used together with others, works through an extremely simple machine, capable of producing heat waves through a particular handpiece, usually set around 250 °.

The use of radiofrequency has a history of over fifty years of experimentation, with extensive use in the surgical field as an adjuvant in the case of interventions on delicate tissues such as gynecological or plastic reconstruction.

Starting from the therapeutic use of radiofrequency for its physiotherapeutic effects, recent studies have highlighted its properties also to counteract the sedimentation of fat in the skin at the base of the cellulitis and to stimulate the regeneration and production of collagen and elastin, the main proteins that make up the epithelial tissue and whose deterioration is the main cause of the formation of wrinkles and folds.

How it works

The operation is quite simple and is based on heating the hypodermis - the least superficial layer of the skin - through a device that produces a low frequency electromagnetic wave capable of transforming into heat at a controlled and constant intensity: this wave is transmitted from the most superficial layers at a temperature of 30-35 degrees, propagating into the deeper ones according to an "inverse gradient", that is, increasing gradually as it descends in depth until reaching 55-60 degrees in the hypodermis. The increase in temperature leads on the one hand to greater perfusion of the blood vessels with a draining effect on the fat accumulated in the dermis and, on the other, to the "denaturation" - chemical reaction that leads to the "modification" of the original bonds of a protein - of collagen .

The effect of radio frequency

Most of the skin degenerations that over time lead to a decrease in tone and elasticity are due to the weakening of the bonds between collagen and tissues: the denaturation resulting from the increase in temperature leads to an immediate new "tension" of the fibers, with a effect of contraction and relaxation that restores the original elasticity, as well as "forcing" the tissues to produce new collagen to replace the old and deteriorated one.

The effect, therefore, is that of a real "bloodless" lifting and which acts on natural factors such as the chemical reactions of the proteins that make up the skin and which therefore allow you to quickly remove damage and tone the skin. skin and restore elasticity and shine.

Contraindications

The wave emission instrument, in fact, bases its effectiveness on the production of heat that raises the temperature of the "deep" skin, counteracting this effect on the "superficial" skin thanks to the action of some cryogenic elements - or cooling - which also prevent the discomfort perceived by contact with the high temperature electrode.

Any sensation of "overheating" generally ends with the suspension of the treatment, but in some cases it can persist in small rashes or swelling which however almost always disappear within a few hours.

Fine of radiofrequency treatment:

  • the presence of inflammation or dermatitis on the skin must be excluded,
  • even slight sunburns must be excluded
  • it should not be used in people with pacemakers, metal implants or  pregnant.

After the treatment  not allowed to expose oneself to the sun's rays, even artificial ones, in the period immediately following the treatment. On average, with a cycle of five to six applications, excellent results are obtained, but of course this depends on the initial skin laxity of the subject undergoing the treatment.

FACE benefits
Generally speaking, the parts of the face where it is most possible to intervene are the "crow's feet", the folds on the nose and lips, the wrinkles of the forehead, around the eyes and on the eyelids, the relaxed chin and the folds of the neck.

During a session of variable duration - from 20 to 40 minutes - these waves stimulate the formation of elastic fibers both on the surface and in depth, starting the production of elastic and collagen. The doctor or technician who uses radiofrequencies goes to pass the handpiece in the area to be firmed. The sensation is that of intense heat which, however, does not cause pain or discomfort. The skin turns red, of course, but this is only a positive sign: it means, in fact, that the production of fibroblasts has started in the skin.
