The hygiene flat rate was introduced to compensate for the numerous additional costs that arise with the new work protocols, which are:

- the loss of a minimum of one hour of work per day for 10 min between one customer and another to ventilate the environment, completely disinfect the settings and to keep the distance between one customer and another

- according to the new protocols we must use a disposable gown, FFP2 masks, gloves (protocol from AESI for a total of 2 + 2 per customer), Plexiglas visors and hand disinfectant gel

- all the prices of hygiene and disposable products have increased by up to 120% (for example: surgical masks have gone up from 0.10 three months ago, to a current price that fluctuates between 0.85 and 1.20. And not the FFP2! )

- we also had to buy several room dividers and Plexiglas dividers.

- not least, the fact that the corporate break-even is “modeled” on the work of three beauticians, while now we can work with only two at a time.

Returning to the flat rate, I will quickly give you a calculation:

with 8 customers a day who pay a flat rate for Covid-19 hygiene measures of CHF 5 .50 I can collect a total EXTRA of CHF 44.- at the end of the day that does not even compensate for the lost working time, calculating the 10 minutes more between one customer and another.

There is the controversy that we make the crest, you decide you want.

In my opinion, however, politicians should control the prices of suppliers, who are taking advantage of our need at the moment.
